Dressage English Riding Horse Training Lessons WA State

Theresa began her riding career as a three-day eventer in Arizona schooling and riding everything from young, green horses to seasoned event horses. Under the guidance of Pat Baker-Sutter, she gained valuable experience in the dressage arena, which resulted in an intense love and fascination with that discipline.

After a break to finish school, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest and was introduced to the Morgan breed by Catherine Cloud of Sea Cloud Morgans. Theresa fell in love with the versatility found with the Morgan horse and has been hooked ever since. Rising to the challenge of working in the disciplines of hunter pleasure, Western pleasure, dressage and jumping is extremely fulfilling.

Theresa likes to take basic dressage principles and teach her students to apply them to the other disciplines to created an overall correct horse and rider. Her students have competed successfully at local shows, including dressage and at A-rated Morgan shows throughout the Pacific Northwest. She continues her own training with Janne Sleeper.
